Dr. Jeremy Vaughan -
Dr. Jeremy Vaughan is a resident of Cedar Hill, Texas, where he enjoys being close to his extended family. He and his wife are also enjoying the new challenges of parenthood since their first son was born in April, 2011. Jeremy was himself the youngest of five children and grew up in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. He then went on to attend Baylor University where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. After working for two years as a research technician at Vanderbilt Medical Center, he made the decision to pursue a career in medicine. In 2007, he was awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Vaughan then completed a four-year residency program in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at Methodist Health System. During his time as a resident, he was the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and the designation as Chief Resident during his final year of training.
So what is he really like? Dr. Vaughan's patients describe him as "down to earth, approachable and informative." He loves spending time with friends and family, watching movies and listening to music. He has even been known to make a little music of his own from time to time. But don't worry. He has no plans to quit his day job.
Maria - Office Manager
Maria was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and is a graduate of Duncanville High School. She later attended PCI Health Training Center where she excelled as a model student. Maria has now been serving as a Medical Assistant for more than 8 years in the fields of Pediatrics and OB/GYN. "I have a passion for helping people and genuinely love what I do," says Maria. Most important in her life, however, is her love for God, her husband, and her wonderful parents. In her free time, she enjoys teaching others about the Bible and spending time with family and friends.
Misty - R.N.
Misty was raised in the small town of Lillian, Texas, and graduated from Alvarado High School in 2000. She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Southwestern Adventist University. As a registered nurse, Misty has focused much of her career in intensive care. She has served in the cardiac ICU at Huguley Memorial Hospital and in the Surgical ICU at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. In recognition of her fine attention to detail and strong leadership skills, she was promoted to Charge Nurse in the ICU at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. While Misty values her experience caring for patients at the bedside, she is eager to take advantage of an opportunity to be more available to care for her son. Misty most enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her many additional talents include baking, decorating, and trying
to be the best mom she can be.
Carmen - Receptionist
Carmen grew up in Dallas Texas, and shortly after graduating High School, she entered the medical field. After 9 years in the same practice she has joined Cedar Hill Womens Center 2013. Carmen has more then 10 years in the medical field.
